With nearly 20 years of experience, Katie Cartwright specializes in strategic brand development, managing the creation of the product voice and logo all the way through to all retail sales initiatives. During her tenure at MainStreet, Katie has successfully launched five new apartment community projects, including spearheading the customer experience for more than 500 new residents.

Prior to MainStreet, Katie honed her unique marketing skill set on both the client and agency sides. Katie started her career at Saatchi & Saatchi, working on the Toyota and Scion national automotive brands, and then moved on to J. Walter Thompson, where she managed a $21 million dollar advertising budget for the Northwest Ford Dealer Association account. Taking what she learned from her agency days, Katie then became a consultant for numerous nonprofits and startups, providing media buying, sales, branding, website and social media support.

Katie graduated from the University of Oregon's Journalism school with an emphasis in Advertising. She lives in Northeast Seattle, and keeps busy as a mom of two children, Reilly and Jack, and as a volunteer at The Healing Center, a nonprofit grief-support organization.
